Here are a few photos that I recently took on a train. I didn’t shoot too much while on the train, but I really liked the few that I did take because of the style. I was drawn to the greenish windows and the scratches that provided such a unique texture and color. So many times as I look out the window of a train, I see just a blur of images, but other times I have distinct images in my head that I can remember. In a way I tried to represent this in these photos. I also thought about how old trains are and that I usually think of them as an “antique” or old way of traveling, yet they are still very much in use today. Therefore, to mimic this idea or thought, I took my modern/digital camera and gave the images an antique feeling.
