The temperature is slowly dropping here in Chicago, but luckily we have not had any snow yet like some places (knock on wood). Therefore, I have decided to post a few more photos from this summer before the weather gets too cold. It would be mean to post warm lakefront summer photos over the winter so I am getting them out now. Most of these photos were a little after the air and water show. That is why there is smoke in the air. I thought it gave the atmosphere a really cool effect and almost a bit of an eery or mysterious feeling. I am already missing the beautiful summer here in Chicago. I think some of these photos capture it with all the boats, people, and sun. Plus, I think this spot from where I took the photos is a great view of the John Hancock building in the background.
Wow, I love the color of the water in these! Beautiful!
