Chicago Police Arrest

I was hanging out downtown with my camera photographing random things. I heard some guys talking behind be and as I turned around to my right one of them loudly and with a hint of complaint said “I knew this would happen!” I turned back around and didn’t think much about it. I then started photographing a business man smoking a cigarette on my left. Once I realized what he was looking at, I was very surprised to see the scene in front of me. Those same guys in a matter of 30 seconds to 1 minute were handcuffed against a police van! I immediately started documenting the scene to catch the action and the view of the business man witnessing it all. I thought the photos were more fitting in black and white based on the scenario and overall aesthetic of it. The photos are in order of how I witnessed the scene. However, the last two photos are of the same shots in color because I thought the color scheme of the scene with the complimenting and popping reds and blues were eye catching in itself. I will soon post the other random shots from that day. By the way I recently created a Facebook page so if you like any of my photography go ahead and visit the page and click like!

  2. I know right? He was just enjoying his cigarette on break and boom, an arrest happened, yet he just sat there and took it all in almost as if it was a normal occurrence.
