Black and White Lakeview

I have been pretty busy this week so I have not been able to get out and shoot too much. I am so glad for the warmer weather so I hope to get out and shoot more. Although I don’t have much to show, I figured showing something is better than nothing. A few days ago I drove by a lake and happened to have my camera in the back seat. The contrast of clouds against the mountain and the frozen water created such a beautiful sight and I felt compelled to stop and take some shots. I thought Ansel Adams when I saw it although it wasn’t quite as grand of a landscape. These few photos are no where near the quality of Ansel Adams because I am no where near the photographer he was and I was in somewhat of a hurry to get somewhere and didn’t have much time to stick around to shoot for a while. Since in person there was so much contrast, I figured I would play around with black and white. The last photograph I intentionally over contrasted and gave a soft focus with some vignetting to give it almost a glow effect.
